CPR Tools is looking for a Computer Engineer I to join their team in LaBelle, Florida. As a Computer Engineer, you will work within a small team and can switch teams/projects as our fast-paced business grows and evolves. We are looking for engineers that are versatile and are excited about tackling new problems as we continue to advance our technology forward. Following are the exciting challenges offered by this position:

• Design and development of new Data Security and Data Recovery hardware
• Embedded system design and development
• Hardware and software research, analysis, testing, and debugging

Each of our team members have a say in all new and existing product development. We adhere to our established design guidelines while allowing our engineers the freedom and creativity to embed their own style and vision into the product. As a Computer Engineer I, you will not be working on 'a' product, you will be working on 'your' product.

Required Skills

• 1+ years of experience with embedded software design and development
• 1+ years of microcontroller programming experience using C and Assembly
• Familiarity with low level communication protocols
• Familiarity with various types of test equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope, etc.)

Desired Skills

• FPGA design experience
• Familiarity with modern hard disk drive interfaces and T13 ATA specification
• Familiarity with various types of protocol analysis equipment

Education

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field is desired. The equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
